China Doll Shots?

A China Doll or Radermachera sinica is a beautiful tree that comes from China and Taiwan. The China Doll has wonderful shaped leaves with a glossy green hue.

These are cuttings from my main plant. I have heard many sites say to throw the cuttings away because they are difficult to grow but I have not had a problem. It may be that my apartment is the perfect atmosphere for these little starts because I am not doing anything special.

I trim the main plant, dip the ends in a rooting hormone and stick them in the shot glass with some water. The parts I am cutting are still green and on the softer side. Typically I will see roots within 7 – 10 days.

DON’T THROW OUT THE CUTTINGS!!

To New Beginnings...

To start this blog off, I would like to share a quote a friend once told to me.

“You decide every moment of everyday
who you are, who you want to be,
and how to make a difference in someone.
You get a second chance every second.”

I think the world needs more positivity and beauty. Maybe if I can grow and share my plants with others, it will make the earth a better place one plant at a time.

This is my Garden Wonder Dahlia, which is way taller than the grow size of 2 - 3 feet --- Try 5 feet! Almost getting too big for my little apartment garden.
