A China Doll or Radermachera sinica is a beautiful tree that comes from China and Taiwan. The China Doll has wonderful shaped leaves with a glossy green hue.
These are cuttings
from my main plant. I have heard many sites say to throw the cuttings away
because they are difficult to grow but I have not had a problem. It may be that
my apartment is the perfect atmosphere for these little starts because I am not
doing anything special.
I trim the main
plant, dip the ends in a rooting hormone and stick them in the shot glass with
some water. The parts I am cutting are still green and on the softer side. Typically I
will see roots within 7 – 10 days.
